A Couple More...

Here are two more really cute pieces from Leslie and Alecia's party. Look forward to seeing some of you again this Spring. All pieces are finished and I will be getting with you guys next week about getting the pottery. Don't worry Leslie and Alecia....I already have your Easter eggs put back for you:)

For the fourth year in a row, I got to do a great party for 2 sisters in Leeds. I look forward to this party every year. I have been painting their children since they were weeks old. Now, they are 4. It is an awesome feeling to see your little clients growing through the years. It was also really nice to see some familiar faces at this event. I love my repeat business. That is the best type of business. Thanks to everyone who attended on the 15th!! Here are a few pix to share:)

More From Leslie's Party

Wow...what a week. Just firing my first Christmas party of the season and have already started on the second. While all of this is going on, I am trying to keep up with several individual orders and one huge order for a birthday party this Saturday. Thought things were going great until my kiln stopped working yesterday. I thought I was going to have a breakdown! Thank God for my wonderful husband and a great company which makes my kiln. We think a thermocouple has burnt out...easy fix!! So, forward we move.

Have another large party tomorrow. Can't wait to me some new people.

Aug 2nd Pottery Party

Had a great time at this party. This was the second time I had the fortune of doing a party for this group. Leslie, the hostess, is always so inviting and has the BEST food there for everyone. I always want to sneak away to her kitchen in between appointments and grab a snack. She has the sweetest little girl named Mary Catherine. MC LOVES to paint and is always waiting patiently for her turn. I honestly thank God everyday for blessing me with for great clients like these. Hope everyone enjoys their pieces!

July Pottery

I am trying really hard to keep on top of the blog this summer. I've been running a little crazy. I just kicked-off the 2009 Christmas season with a bang. The fun now begins. I am posting some pix of pieces I did in July. Sorry so late and thanks to all the people who came to Southern Clay Pottery events in July. I will be trying my hardest to post from each individual party booked this Christmas season. Hope everyone like some of the new themes!!

Fun Pieces

Things are about to get crazy!! For those of you who don't know, we are expecting our 3rd baby the beginning of next year. On top of that great news, I have the busiest Christmas/Winter schedule booked for this year! I am excited and nervous about how eveything will play out. I am finally starting to feel myself again and this past weekend, I kicked-off my season. Here are some fun pics I have been meaning to post. Hope everyone had a great summer. Now, it is time for me to get back to work:)
